Seems like a long time ago now but at the end of January Polina and I headed off to Tenerife for some winter sun. I really wanted to see Blue Chaffinch so that had to be my number one target in the time I had available.

Thought my latest post would be an Autumnal theme, as my last was a spring gallery. Here are some images of Forty Hall Farm Orchard taken on the last Sunday in October. A misty start, but made the orchard very photographic. Although we had made cider back in early October, the Black Dabinett Cider apples seem to have got left, shame they never got used, but they make a good image. There was some frost, and it shows here in the Red Sentinel Crabapples.
